LONDON (Dow Jones)–Private equity investor Origo Partners PLC (OPP.LN) said Tuesday it has now raised $32.5 million via a placing of 57.76 million new ordinary shares at 36 pence per share.
-Origo said earlier Tuesday the net proceeds will be invested in Renminbi funds in conjunction with the Chinese government and new identified investment opportunities.
-Placing was conducted through a book-building process by Liberum Capital Ltd., which is acting as broker in relation to the placing.
-Shares at 1315 GMT down 0.7% at 34.75 pence valuing the company at GBP105.78 million.
