Huremtiin Hyar

Huremtiin Hyar owns two prospective copper-gold licenses in the south west of Mongolia, Baruun Khundlun and Khundlun Uul covering an area of 14,400 hectares.

One known copper occurrence is located in the southeastern corner of the Barun Khundlun exploration license which stretches 0.9km by 0.37km. High grade zones are characterized by an average of 1-3% copper with associated gold and silver. Three further areas of mineralization were discovered on the license in 2008 each extending 1.5km by 0.6km. Exploration work on the Khundlun Uul license discovered an epithermal gold-silver occurrence in the central part of the license area with maximum gold grades of 46.5/t in addition to two further extensive copper mineralization zones.

Huremtiin Hyar has operated the project for 2.5 years and is conducting ongoing exploration work. The company is focusing on surface mineralized zones on the Red Hill prospect. The grades found in rock chips (1-28g/t) indicate a potentially rich deposit at least 400x200m and possibly 300+m deep just on the northern side of the neck.
